Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 22, 2026

These are the terms for using Amathlai software (currently: Kontext, Windows Notification Fixer and Jent). By installing or buying a license you agree to them.

License

When you buy a license you get a perpetual, non-transferable right to use the purchased version of the software on one machine. The license is bound to that machine. It does not include future major versions.

Trial

A free 10-day trial is available on each machine before purchase. Use the trial to verify the software works for your case. Once the trial ends you must either buy a license or stop using the software. Jent has no trial — its smallest prepaid wallet serves that purpose.

Refunds

Refund requests after purchase are reviewed case by case. Email us within 14 days of purchase with a clear reason and we'll work something out. After 14 days no refunds.

Receipts

Receipts are issued as digitally signed computerized documents and sent to the email address used at purchase. By purchasing you agree to receive your receipt in this form.

Jent — AI usage

Jent uses a prepaid wallet: you buy a fixed dollar amount and each AI command spends from it based on how much the AI reads and writes (the AI's internal reasoning and tool work count as writing). AI usage rates follow our AI provider's (Anthropic) pricing. If the provider changes a model's price, your usage rate changes the same way, effective immediately — such pass-through changes are not subject to advance notice. Increases we choose ourselves get at least 30 days' notice. Wallet balance already spent is non-refundable; unused balance falls under the Refunds section above.

What the software does to your machine

Both apps make changes to Windows configuration (Kontext edits shell-extension registry keys; Windows Notification Fixer restarts notification services). The software takes backups where reasonable and you can undo most changes from within the app. We assume you understand the impact before clicking.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limit of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Amathlai's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the software is limited to the amount you paid for the license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer the licensing system, share license codes, or redistribute the software. If you misuse the software we may revoke your license without refund.

Jent and the AI features are for legitimate productivity use. Use is subject to Anthropic's Usage Policy. A request that violates it — malware, attacks, illegal or harmful content — leads to a temporary suspension of AI access; a repeat violation leads to your account being blocked, without refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the new Effective Date. The current version always lives at this URL.
